The elders of Coram Deo Church are calling the church to pray and fast on Thursdays leading up to Thanksgiving. We will begin fasting on Wednesdays after dinner. Watch now as Pastor Jon explains what we're praying and fasting for.

Did you know that 60% of the children in the Bremerton elementary schools receive reduced-price meals? Often, there isn't enough food to go around. To help meet this need for food, Coram Deo is partnering with the Bremerton Backpack Brigade. God has blessed us and called us to bless our community as a practical demonstration of His love.
Each week, staff discreetly distributes them to the students enrolled in the program. The students return the backpacks and they are refilled for the following weekend.
YOU can make a difference in the life of a child in our community. This week take your shopping list and go purchase some of the items (see list here). Then drop off your donations at any of our worship services on or before Sunday, September 15.

Every Fall, Coram Deo Church hosts an outreach to our community in an effort to fulfill our mission to saturate Kitsap County with the Gospel. This free event is a safe option for Fall fun. Because this event is for the public we need YOU to serve with your time, your talent, and your gifts of donated goods!
Please read carefully through the list of serving options AND donation needs. Feel free to choose as many as you would like to. In typical Coram Deo spirit, BE GENEROUS!
We will begin to collect donations no sooner than Sunday, September 22. You may bring your items to the church foyer or make arrangements for a weekday drop off with Nette Yabeny, Krysta Kogut, or Lyndsey Rickabaugh in the church office.

Men, you are invited to join us on the evening of Tuesday, September 17th from 6:30 to 8:30 for a men's training event. Pastor Kim Highfield will be teaching on the topic of living a life worthy of the calling you have received.

While our weekly worship services play a vital role in our discipleship process at Coram Deo Church, they do not play an exclusive role. In addition to Sunday, a more formal expression of discipleship, we are also committed to growing in community together in less formal environments. Growth as a disciple is a community project.
In order to help encourage and support ongoing discipleship growth and maturity at Coram Deo Church, we encourage people to get connected with a group of people who can encourage one another in discipleship. Some of these groups are more formal while others are less. Some meet in homes, some in coffee shops, some in garages, but as God's people what is important is that we meet with one another. The point is to Grow In Community together.
Our upcoming Groups Training will be on Sundays from 10/6-10/27. We will be preparing in October for launching our groups in January 2025.
